"That sounds like fun!" Rosy replied. She was looking foreward to it. She never did get the chance to try dancing the last time she came. She watched with intrest as Memphis scanned the next CD. It was aonly a few bars after the sample started when she yanked the headphones off. She kept her eyes on them, clentched in her white knuckled hands. "I can't listen to this." She murmured. "I'm sorry. It sounded beautiful, but I just can't listen to it." With a gentle shake of the head, she shook the ringing out of her ears.

Memphis' eyes widened in surprise and he opened his mouth to ask what was wrong before his brain processed and he winced. Taking the CD back, he nodded. "Well, hopefully that didn't turn you off Broadway musicals in general. But, at any rate, it's hardly good music to dance to," he said, brushing it off and slipping the CD away quickly. "And the best music is the stuff you can dance to."

She gave him her most reassuring smile. "I'm still happy to try anything." After all, it was important to be open. Still she was grateful to see that particular CD disappear. The song had been dark, distinctly about some point of no return. The tune of it had been too familiar to her. "I'd love to try dancing. It's so..." She had to pause for a moment to find the right word. "Joyous!"

Memphis offered her a grin. "Yeah. It's too bad I don't think there's enough people around to do a good old fashioned English Country Dance, but I know a jazz club around. I could take you there sometime, teach you some of those dances? They're especially fast paced and made to be enjoyed." Honestly, he felt somewhat bad about the last CD, but, she at least seemed to have moved on quickly enough.

"Would you?" She asked. Over the ages, she had long ago learned to push any echoes of her awful chorus into the background of her life. Dwelling on it only caused her more pain. "That would be wonderful." She smiled at him. "I could do with something lively."

"Then swing dance is definitely the place to be for you. Most clubs don't have dancing until later in the evening though, and I have no idea what you're doing or anything like that... but do you have any free time?" he asked, mentally working out his schedule.

She thought for a second. "I don't really have anywhere specific to be at any time. I just do my work wherever I can." She shrugged her shoulders. "Mysterious ways and all that."

"Excellent," he said and glanced at his watch, considering the time. "How about tonight or tomorrow night then?"

She favored him with a smile. "Tonight would be grand."

"Grand," Memphis said, tilting an invisible hat at her. "Shall we meet out front here again tonight then?"

Rosy chuckled lightly. "Certainly. " She said with a nod. "It's a date."

He blinked through the mention of date, not much liking the reminder he was supposed to be and seducing the innocent. He certainly had no major interest in seducing her though, which was half odd but he was willing to go with it. "Alright," he replied, nodding. "I'll see you then," and then slipped out to finish up the small tasks he had to take care of.
